Housing Long-term Volunteers

The Presbytery of South Louisiana’s rebuilding initiative, known as Project Homecoming, will be housing 11 long-term volunteers in two locations in the Greater New Orleans area.

The Presbytery has purchased a duplex, which will house 8 volunteers. In addition, we will be renting a three bedroom house owned by Parkway Presbyterian Church. The volunteers who will be housed in these locations include 7 Delta Service Corps members who will serve for 11 months as construction assistants and volunteer coordinators.

One floor of the duplex will be used for housing skilled trade and construction volunteers as well as pastors willing to assist with pulpit supply. We appreciate your help in furnishing these housing units.
