The public deadline is set far in advance in order to give us time for follow-up, fact-checking, technical problems or coordination between editors or advertisors. DEADLINES for EDITORS ONLY:
Send page to UMR and Synod by 9:00a on the following Tuesdays:
This is an absolute deadline, missing it may cause a reschedule.
Feb. 26, 2008
- for the March-April issue
May 6, 2008
- for the May-June issue
(delayed in order to cover news from Spring Synod Meeting).
June 24, 2008
- for the July-Aug. issue
Aug. 26, 2008
- for the Sept.-Oct. issue
Oct. 28, 2007
- for the Nov.-Dec. issue
Usually, the post office will mail the newspaper the week following the editors' deadline. If it is delayed, it may be due to one or more editors being late or having technical problems. Start your page early so you can ask for help when needed.
