Joan Gray, moderator of the PC(USA) leads devotion time hurricane recovery volunteers which included members and staff of the General Assembly Council. The council's executive committee began their annual retreat by staying the night in a Presbyterian Volunteer Village and helping gut a flood damaged home in the New Orleans area.
